V&T did develop a special filter for protection of pumps, pipesystems and process equipment against big particles. The filter has a special construction and combines flowpatterns and turbulance for cleaning of a wedge wire filterelement. The filtration direction is from inside to outside. The cleaning cycle only takes 5 seconds. When the solids are heavy or sticky, the seperating mechanism casn be assisted by a scraper mechanism.
